As COVID-19 continues to disrupt education systems worldwide, digital learning should become an important service. This means connecting every child and younger particular person – some 3.5 billion by 2030 – to world-class digital solutions that supply personalised learning to leapfrog to a brighter future. For girls in some elements of the world, education opportunities could be particularly restricted.
Education began in prehistory, as adults educated the young in the knowledge and abilities deemed needed in their society. In pre-literate societies, this was achieved orally and through imitation. Story-telling passed data, values, and abilities from one technology to the following. As cultures started to extend their data past skills that could presumably be readily learned via imitation, formal education developed.
